The space

Upstairs you will find a beautiful relaxing living room, with tv equipped with roku to stream, and fire place.

The full updated kitchen, dining room easily sits 8 and 1 bathroom can also be found upstairs.

Downstairs the 4 bedrooms and 1 bathroom stay cool in the summer. One bedroom has a desk with peekaboo view of the lake and its own access door. There is also a game area between all bedrooms with foosball and arcade.

Guest access

You will have access to the whole home with the exception of the outdoor sheds and owners cabinets inside.

Arrival is at 4pm with departure at 11. Please let us know when you will be arriving.

We do have a ring doorbell at the front door, to ensure you arrive safely do a head count and check you in.

Additional notes

Please note only 2 cars or 1 oversized vehicle will fit in the level parking spots. There are also stairs inside and outside of the home and

Maximum occupancy is 8 people at any time, children and babies count towards this number. There is a max vehicle limit of 2. Failure to follow either of these rules is grounds for immediate cancellation of your reservation and eviction.

Unfortunately, pets are not permitted at this home. If undisclosed pets are brought in there is a $500 fine.

Neighborhood overview

We enjoy the quiet residential Fawnskin neighborhood. This is a private retreat for your friends and family to relax and enjoy. You will be close to the lake, 2 parkettes, hiking trails on the North Shore and only a short 10-15 minute drive from all Big Bear Lake has to offer.

Getting around

There is space to park 2 vehicles, please note that there are stairs to access the home, and inside of the home.

You are walking distance to the North Shore Cafe, a couple of shops in Fawnskin, Captain Johns Marina and the lake.

Vons and Stater Brothers Grocery stores are about a 10 minute drive.

Snow Summit and Bear Mountain are about a 15 minute drive.

There are two parkettes in walking distance.

House Rules

Please note no pets allowed at the property.

No smoking of any kind allowed on or in the premises. If our cleaners report butts or the smell of smoke you are subject to $500 fine.

Guest occupancy is 8 and not to be exceeded. This could result in fines, and/or immediate cancellation of your trip and removal from property with no refund.

There are stairs in the home that are not childproof, plus a bunk bed, please supervise young children.

Per San Bernardino county No parties or events allowed. Quiet hours are to be observed from 10pm - 7am, we should note this is a peaceful residential community so please be considerate of neighbors at all hours.

Other things to note
We do not refund due to road conditions/closures due to storms or snow unless all roads are closed. Snow chains will be required during the snow season from Nov 1- April 1 you are required to carry chains. Stay up-to-date on weather and road conditions as they will impact your drive to/from the mountain.

We do not refund due to your choice to cancel for any reason, including illness, car trouble, change of plans or change your mind, please see our booking policy.

When you stay at our cabin you assume all risks and agree not to hold hosts liable for slips, trips, and in the winter icy conditions. There are stairs at our cabin and a ramp that guests must use to walk from parking to the front door.
